Executive Designs Inc. we wish to give our customers the option of
ordering different product materials when building or designing
panels or cabinetries for our line of bookcases and wall units.
As of February 2001 we've introduced a new hardwood plywood
building material, this new type of plywood has a very strong,
dense yet lightweight core; this core consists of tightly
compressed hardwood aspen flakes or wafers bonded with proprietary
waterproof and low emission resins. With this type of design it's
lighter in weight than either MDF and particleboard, making it
both easier and lighter to work with and doesn't require
heavy-duty hinges and screws, thus giving our wall units and
bookcases the elegant and beauty of quality hardware (hinges and
knobs/handles) that some designs may call for.
The engineered
core of this hardwood veneer is cross banded, top and bottom with
aspen and faced with a top quality hardwood veneers (see list of
veneer species to choose from below). Thus making it by far
stronger plywood compared to the conventionally used plywood's.
This new plywood will offer environmental benefits to our
customers for use within their homes due to the low formaldehyde
emissions, causing less of an irritant to both the respiratory
system and eyes.
This hardwood
plywood veneer is produced in ½", ¾" and 1" thick, 48" x 96" size
panels with various species of veneers on the faces and backs.
Species: Birch,
Maple, Cherry, Red Oak, White Oak, Ash, Knotty Pine and Honduras
Mahogany.
